Latin translation...?

i need to translate this sentence for a project and i cant figre it out. it's from an award certificate that my brother recieved for his Latin class a few years ago:

Quod de lingua Latina scientae suae documentam dedit *** Laude.Latin translation...?
"Since he gave proof with honours of his knowledge about Latin language".

You should write in the Latin phrasing 'documentum' (instead of documentam) and c u m is censored by authomatic Yahoo's control due to the ambiguity with the well-known English word with the same writing...!!Latin translation...?
I think it means to give Latin knowledge document to : so basically it just means this latin certificate goes to : and c u m means when. it didn't show up because they thought you were talking about c u m. ha. :)Latin translation...?
Unless your brother is sexless quod doesn't introduce a relative clause but a causal clause. So don't translate "WHO gave proof . . ". Instead translate it "Because he gave proof".
