I'm trying to find out what the following phrase is in latin:
"the condition of the heart"
if you could help me that would be great! Also, please don't bother to answer this question unless you are sure of your response, and it would be great if you could break down the phrase and explain what each word individually means. A purposely false translation would be a waste of your time and mine.
Thanks! Can anyone help me with a latin translation?
Status cordis
status = condition (nominative, being the subject)
cordis = of heart (genitive of cor)
I've no further explanations to give you but this should be enough. I can assure you this is correct Classic Latin.
