Latin translation???

How would you translate this into latin.

1. Since he could do everything, he seemed a remarkable man.

2.He has never dared to summon a meeting of citizens.

3. Since he refused to be elected consul, he was praised by all.

2. Numquam ausus est (semi-deponent, hence the passive) convocare coitum civium.



3. *** negavisset designari consul, laudatus sum ab omnibus.



I chose the pluperfect subjunctive in 3 because of sequence of tenses; the perfect passive in the main clause is an action AFTER the dependent. A perfect translation of it would be "Since he had refused...."



The three stars that appear are because there is an editing thing that the latin word "with", "since" when taken with the subjunctive, that looks like a bad word in english is being edited out. c-u-m.
